Starlight is a project showcase that celebrates all kinds of projects built by passionate and aspiring engineers at UNSW. Submissions are open to anyone who has a project they want to share! Whether it’s Software, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or any other type of engineering project, you are welcome to submit.
The event is open-floor, free for anyone to attend, and fully catered. If you’re interested in exploring what different areas of engineering can offer, this is your go-to event! More information about the event is available here.

UNSW Discord Verification Bot
Most discord bots used by societies currently are either insecure, outdated or unmaintained or all of the above. This bot aims to solve all those problems and gives control back to societies.

A free, centralised platform that tackles student food insecurity and campus food waste through real time access to free food opportunities.
Fast and Curious
3rd-place autonomous racing droid. Merges Ackermann & differential drive with a low-CG chassis. Uses HSV color filtering for target tracking and PID/bang-bang control to aggressively hold course.
Autonomous Racing Droid
Create an Autonomous Lane Detection Car that races around a track. Applications of computer vision, colour masking and various algorithms can be applied to many modern day uses.

Lumicode transforms lectures into revision - with focused questions, topic maps, and communities.

An AI tutor replacing traditional tuition for Australian students. Currently chemistry-focused, with plans to expand, it simulates real interactive lessons at a fraction of the cost.
